De Basto Designs is a progressive design firm based in Miami, Florida, which is emerging as a world center for international design and art.

We specialize in developing creative and innovative design solutions for luxury yachts, both custom and production. and for commercial vessels. Over the years we have been commissioned to design a wide variety of vessels in terms of their size, styling and type. Our in-house computer capabilities provide clients with a full understanding of the development of the project.

Studio Scanu was founded in1983 by noted Italian Naval Architect Paolo Scanu, and his wife Carol. Today, Carol, a well-known yacht designer in her own right, manages the firm, together with a handful of carefully selected, highly talented colleagues.
